| HIS STORY… In the fall of 2000, we purchased HOT TRIPLE SCOTCH from Joan Biven, his breeder, when she was conducting her retirement sale. We felt very privileged to purchase ‘Scotty’ and to finally meet Joan. Her facility was just breath taking and Hot Scotch Man himself was AWSOME! Dreams came true for us that day… Scotty only lacked 7 halter points for his APHA Championship title. We sent him back to Texas to be shown toward that goal with Earnest Wilson. He had exclusively put all of Scotty’s performance/halter points on his record. In a short 3 shows, Earnest had led Scotty to 10 halter points and a Reserve Grand Championship, his APHA ROM in halter and the ultimate goal – APHA CHAMPION! How exciting! Now Scotty has begun to prove himself as a young sire. His first foal to show – Mc Tag Your Hot – a 2002 gelding from his first crop of 3 foals is earning halter points and standing Grand and Reserve Champion at halter. Congratulations to Dawn Westre from Montana on your purchase and good luck in the show ring with ‘Apollo’!
